Land Rover 110 Defender OE Style Chequer Plate Side Steps Running Boards SECONDS
Gloss Black main bar with rubber mounting and anodised chequer top plate.
Full fittings kit included.
There are 2 main issues;
The first, See the images for the problem. (the images of the SVX style are just to show the issues, this listing is for the chequer plate style)
The steps were manufactured such that the brackets were not central on the main bar, so when fitted to either side of the vehicle, the one side sits slightly forward (by about 2 to 3cm). As they are on opposite sides of the vehicle it is not an obvious error.
The distance between the brackets is correct, so it still fits correctly to the mounting holes on the vehicle. We have sold many like this without issue.
The second issue is that some of the end caps may not be seated correctly. Not too much of a problem because mostly they are under the vehicle.
The steps are still fully wrapped and boxed as new, so as we have not opened to check them, we cannot say 100% that they are not scratched or have other damage from being moved around our warehouse. If dents are found by yourself on opening then we will come to an agreement about a price reduction or replacement on a case by case basis.
Take care if you have a special edition model Defender 110 as these steps may not fit. Check with your local dealer if the standard OEM steps will fit, if so, then these will fit.
Delivery is to UK mainland only, outer lying areas, Highlands, Islands and NI will have an additional carriage surcharge. We will contact you if this is the case, at which time you will have the option to pay the surcharge or cancel the order for a refund.
If the steps do not fit your vehicle, then it is your responsibility to return the steps at your cost. The original outbound postage is non-refundable.
