Burbage Iron Craft Ltd – Delivery Policy

We are committed to delivering your goods as quickly as possible after receipt of your order. Where goods are in stock, delivery will be within approximately 5 working days. For non-stocked goods and made-to-measure goods, please allow approximately 8-10 weeks for UK mainland addresses. The delivery time is also determined size and weight of the gate, the size of the order and the location of the delivery address. These factors will be taken into account and you will be contacted with an estimated delivery time for the order, at the time of your order placement. Delivery times can be longer during the busier summer months due to the number of orders going through our factory at any one time. We can never be held responsible if the manufacture time is longer than the estimated 8 working weeks, but we will always try to inform you in a timely manner if any unexpected delays arise. Please do not arrange any builders or fitters prior to receiving your product as we will not refund their cost if the product delivery is delayed.

There is a standard £15.00 (+ VAT) delivery change on all UK Mainland orders up to a maximum of 4 items, larger volume orders may incur a higher delivery charge that will be determined at the time of your order. There may be a delivery surcharge for deliveries to outer lying remote areas, Highland, Islands and Northern Island. Please telephone our helpline for details prior to making your order if there are any questions.

As standard our courier services do not offer timed deliveries or am/pm deliveries unless this has been specifically paid for. We can request the courier gives you a pre-call but this is unfortunately at the discretion of the courier and not guaranteed. If you are not home when delivery is attempted, the courier will try to find a neighbour to safely leave the goods with or they will leave a card so that you can contact them to re-arrange a suitable delivery date.

  • Isle of Wight
  • Isle of Man
  • Northern Ireland
  • Any outer lying remote areas within the UK mainland or the Scottish Highlands or Scottish Isles
  • Jersey or Guernsey

Order Tracking

Tracking details are usually available the following working day after dispatch. If you have specific delivery requirements or require an update on your shipment, please don’t hesitate to contact our Customer Helpline.

Product Availability

We always try to ensure that we have enough stock in our warehouse to satisfy every customer’s order. Occasionally we find we have more demand for a product than expected and this may mean a delay before we can satisfy your order with our replenished stocks. If high demand means that the item you require is not immediately available, we will alway contact you in a timely manner to let you know the expected delivery date.


Any goods ordered through this website are covered under the distance selling regulations and can therefore be returned within 7 days, however, if the return is for any other reason than damage or incorrect goods received, the cost of the return is for the Purchaser’s account. The original outbound delivery cost is also not refundable. Please make sure you give written confirmation of your intention to return the goods. Goods must be returned in an unused, resaleable condition, ideally in their original packaging but this is not obligatory. If we are arranging the collection on your behalf then the goods must be fully wrapped up with no metal showing, and the agreed cost of the collection will be deducted from your refund amount.
