FIN WEDGE GRIP CONCRETE-IN POST SUPPORTS
The Bic Garden Concrete-In Post Supports are designed for use where ground conditions do not allow the use of spikes (stony or with tree roots) or bolt-down supports. Used to support a variety of garden structures such as decking, fencing, car ports and pergolas.
BIC GARDEN Hot Dip Galvanised Post Supports allow the installation of timber posts without need for the post to sit into the concrete. Manufactured from heavy gauge steel for strength and durability, they hold the post above ground level, protecting the base of the wooden post against infestation and rot. Easy future installation of replacement posts.
The post support fins grip the post on two sides. This provides a sturdy clamping action. To help prevent the post from being pulled out the support box, we suggest you fix screws through the fin grip slots into the post.
The hot dip galvanised finish provides the best form of rust protection, however it remains the end users responsibility to check for damage to the coating and paint touch up as and when required.
Post support box is 150mm high.
1. Embed the Concrete-In Post Support within a concrete base.
2. Check for vertical and horizontal alignment frequently during the installation process.
3. Once the concrete has set, push the new post into the support box and further hold in place with screws through the fin grip holes.
If you only require 1 or 2 items then please call for possibly reduced postage cost.
